SRK's Review...

KRRISH...A Super HERO???

Well...Here i am...after a long gap of SIX months since my last SRK's Preview on d big movies of 2006,with ur own SRK's review...I had promised u all that i will giv u my verdict on all d "BIGGIE" movies of dis year...and thats wat i am here for...

It is the most awaited movie of dis summer...Its d movie of d Father-Son duo of Roshan's after a Two-year gap...since der runaway HIT of KOI MIL GAYA...but this time the writer,director Rakesh Roshan goes one step further making d sequel of KMG...a story about a MIRACLE BOY emerging as a SUPER HERO...

So,does the movie KRRISH live upto d hype it has created prior to its release...well, honestly...i think YES,to a certain extent...

The story unfolds with a child "KRISHNA",continuing d legacy of his father by attaining d super talents from him and he finds himself interested in having more knowledge than any of his friends...and being d super-intelligent boy...but an old-yet-refusing-to-be-grey REKHA,his DAADHI is alarmed by this and decides to home-school him...the child grows up to a Young lad..who just finds more interest in playing with his super powers as a hobby without any one's knowledge and remains a KID at his grandma's guidance...All goes well until he falls in love...and ends up in trouble...

KRRISH is neither a SUPER hero flick that revolves around d BATTLE between Good & Evil...nor it depends on a Revolutionory Theme music and d changes d HERO can make to d WORLD..but its just about Hrithik...to say d least...

May be this movie is the FIRST of it's kind in INDIAN cinema...and for that it doesnt hav a gripping story or an intresting screenplay for most part of d film...Besides d beautiful scenic location and d great Special effects,the movie moves slowly and predictably in first half appealing more to kids...

But the story gets on d Highway once KRRISH lands up in Singapore...and from ther on..the "so far predictable screenplay" drews u to a new world cinema with all d scenes including d stunts done by Hrithik himself..claiming high precision to d Special effects and the story turns its toll when a suspense is unfolded that takes d viewer's by surprise and the following scenes are just etched to perfection leaving no doubt in d common man...that we r waching a real SUPER hero of our own...

The climax of the movie is the place where d director gets into a tangle and goes hay-wire with d so called super powers..by delivering a series of unbelievable n rediculous sequences..and add to it..comes a melodramatic last 10 minitues wich makes u remember d old masala hindi movies...and this makes u think,afterall KRRISH is only an INDIAN super hero having all emotions...

On a whole KRRISH is worth watching for three main reasons...
1.Hrithik..who just barely takes up d responsibility of running this "rather mediocre" screenplay, lonely in his shoulders...wich he does with utmost perfection proving his talent as an actor and as an unbelievable dancer...
2.The special effects wich plays a pivotal role in avoiding d artificial risks of the story line...
3.The music makes u feel that "u hav heard this sometime back, somewer else"...But the songs hav been shot greatly using all d sceneries of Himalayan mountains..and also d glamour of Magnificient Singapore to the most...

Watch it atleast once to experience d DESI version of SUPER hero and to realise the unbelievable talent of the real hero of the movie HRITHIK...The super hero...

SRK's Verdict: **1/2 {* =Poor,** =Good,***=Great,
****=Don't Miss it,*****=Movie of a Lifetime}
